Gallery of Orava offers five permanent exhibitions.
One of them is the creation of an oravian insist woodcarver Stefan Sivan, which is absolutely unique and it is considered to be one of the most valuable collections of statues in Slovakia. Inspiration for him was the life in Orava, as well as many other artists from Slovakia, which were returning to Orava regularly from the first of 19thcentury until the end of the 20thcentury.
Other expositions are with old art from 15th– 19thcentury, rare icons, an important collection of Slovakian painting art from the 20thcentury and a selection of traditional folk art. The building itself where the gallery is located in a historical monument – it is a former baroc house from the 17thcentury.
